The Inspect Point development team strives to address customer feedback, and suggestions, by providing regular updates to the product.

The latest iPad update will be made available to all Inspect Point users on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00PM EST. The 2.7.4 iPad upgrade contains the following updates:

  • Updates to Fire Extinguishers
  • [NEW] Visit-Wide Proposed Corrections
  • New Valve Sizes
  • Update to Custom Inspections

Let’s take a closer look at several of the updates…

Visit-Wide Proposed Corrections

Inspect Point users are no longer limited to attaching proposed corrections to systems in the field. Instead, with the new visit-wide proposed corrections updates, users can propose corrections building or visit wide.

The addition of this feature allows for increased flexibility in the field with proposed corrections, and continues to tie in service by removing the need for an inspection of a system, or asset, to be scheduled in order for proposed corrections to be utilized.

Update to Custom Inspections

Inspect Point users will now have the ability to add multiple custom inspections to any NFPA inspection. The addition of this feature allows backend users the ability to add multiple custom inspections, to any inspection to be performed per floor, building, system, asset, etc..

For more information, check out our blog post. If you extensively use custom inspections, keep your eyes on your email.
