The Inspect Point product team regularly prioritizes features, improvements and bug fixes to the Inspect Point platform. Here’s a look at our latest release…

Up until now, our product updates have been primarily distributed via email and dumped into general product update posts. This means some of you may have missed product updates . It’s time to fix that! We’re excited to introduce a new series called Release Notes.

With every iPad release, Release Notes, we will highlight two improvements and/or features we’re launching, so you can easily stay up-to-date on what’s new and will impact all current Inspect Point users.

Let’s take a look at a couple key features available in the 3.5 iPad release, which will be available Sunday, October 14th at 8:00 PM EST , to all Inspect Point customers:

Major Update to Deficiency Management

Backend users now have the ability to create custom resolution statuses, apply resolution statuses and notes when resolving deficiencies, and update inspection reports with resolution dates and notes for customers. In addition, deficiencies can now be added in proposals with the push of a button.

  • Attachments in the Field

If you need to perform backflows via a third party website, and/or have custom forms that only a select few customers require, you can now use our attachment feature to download and attach required pdf’s to inspections from the field. Once attached, all pdfs or attachments, are sent back to the office with the completed inspection, and generate as a single report.

Have a feature request?

We’d like to thank you for all the feedback we get from you every day! We truly appreciate you helping us build a better product.

If you have a feature request, please contact our Features Team at features@inspectpoint.com to discuss your request and potential release date. Since we work off a product backlog, feature and product requests are worked in order of demand and request date.
