Designed to beinspected.
FireCAD is a purpose-built CAD platform for fire alarm and life-safety design. Hand its device data to Inspect Point in one click, then run inspections, testing, deficiencies, work orders, and compliance reporting on the same asset record. One record per device, from drawing to report.

Synced device record
From the drawingInspection-ready
From design to inspection on one record.
The integration connects fire alarm design to inspection, testing, and maintenance, so the same dataset carries the system from the drawing through every service visit.
Design in FireCAD
Place devices as you normally do. Every drop carries type, make, model, address, and zone, plus panel and loop, floor and room, location notes, and mounting when you want them. The device schedule comes off the drawing, so there is no side spreadsheet to keep honest.
Sync to Inspect Point in one click
Pick the project and site and click Sync. The first time through, you map fields once (panel to panel, zone to zone). The sync checks for duplicates and required fields, keeps the site, building, floor, and zone structure, and runs incrementally: add devices, change models, renumber zones, and re-sync without rework. Every sync is logged.
Schedule, inspect, and maintain
Schedule inspections and build routes from the synced device list. Techs see the design context in the mobile app and inspect against the asset record: readings, photos, notes, deficiencies, barcodes if you use them. Deficiencies convert to proposals and work orders, and the fixes log back to the same asset history.

What changes when design and inspection share a record.
Consistent, auditable data across design, inspection, testing, and maintenance. Designers, project managers, inspectors, and techs work from the same asset record for every device, from installation through ongoing maintenance.

Inspections start sooner
The FireCAD device list is inspection-ready in Inspect Point the day the drawing is done. No spreadsheets, no CSV cleanup.
Reports pull from one source
AHJ and client reporting reads the same asset data the design produced, which cuts revisits and builds confidence with the AHJ.
One record per device
Design, inspect, service, and report against one verified dataset. Fixes log back to the asset history, so the record stays auditable.
