The center of the episode is data. AI is everywhere right now, but Jimmy and John make a practical case: the value comes from what you capture and how. Building data is common. The advantage shows up when you capture clean, standardized data at the system and asset level, manufacturers, model numbers, recalls, test dates, and how an asset performs over time. With that in place, you can ask real questions of the data and make projections, instead of working around PDFs and spreadsheets that were never meant to be searched.
They walk through the features built on that system and asset model: fully custom question sets, components and attributes you can take as granular as you need, barcoding down to an individual cylinder or valve, fire pump curves, and the AI agents on the way.

He closes with a sharp theory on why NFPA 25 is the most complex standard in the trade: a sprinkler system is full of water, and water can damage property the same way fire can, so the system has to be protected on both fronts.
